| Welcome to Aquatic Writings. If you are
an Aquatic Bodyworker, recipient of sessions, teacher or prospective student,
this site could be a resource for you. Feeling curious? Read on!
This is an information and document resource site. I, Alexander, will be sharing my teaching manuals for Watsu®, Healing Dance®
and WaterDance®. Feel free to browse online the individual articles or download PDF versions of the entire manuals. Also for teachers are several articles
on teaching this work. The links at the top of each page take you to pages describing each technique followed by the manuals and individual documents. At the bottom of each page you will find links to my teaching Schedule and to a page explaining how to purchase a CD of the writings and DVD's . You may also link to two additional directories, in portugu๊s and Deutsch, for translations of some of these same manuals and articles. For an entertaining aside, check out Two Brazilian Short Stories and The Zen Garden photo gallery. Enjoy!
Aquatic Bodywork has been around since the 1980's and has been spreading
rapidly. What all of its several branches have in common is that they are
practiced in warm water, such as found in therapy pools, mineral springs
and spas. Additionally, each technique is holistic; that is, it acknowledges
that a human being is not only physical, but emotional, energetic and spiritual,
as well. The three techniques presented here are Watsu, Healing Dance and WaterDance.
